Founded in 1878, Highgate Choral Society is one of London’s leading and longest-established
choirs. In recent years, the choir has enjoyed widespread critical
acclaim and built an enviable reputation for the high standard of its
concerts and its championing of both new commissions and
rarely-performed works. The choir now includes over 200 singers from
all over north London. In addition to its London concerts, HCS travels
further afield: Venice in 2003, Prague in 2005 and Lyon
in 2007.
